first_imgThe West Kootenay High School Cross Country season begins Wednesday, September 21 in Kaslo. The race is hosted by J.V. Humphries Eagles.The four-stop circuit includes races in South Slocan, hosted by Mount Sentinel, at L.V. Rogers and Champion Lakes (J.Lloyd Crowe) before runners flock to the Busk Trails near Apex for the West Kootenay Championships.The East/West Kootenay Finals are in the East Kootenay October 26.
