first_imgSatellite operator SES has closed a renewed €1.2 billion revolving credit facility, a move that the firm said strengthened the liquidity of the company. The five-year credit facility includes two one-year extension options and was arranged by 20 banks – including Bank of China, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank Luxembourg and Barclays.“We are pleased to have secured this financing, which further strengthens our liquidity profile. The successful conclusion of this credit agreement reflects the market’s view of SES as a strong investment grade credit, and underlines our ability to secure funding on attractive terms,” said SES chief financial officer, Padraig McCarthy.last_img

first_imgThis week’s ‘Prime Day’ was Amazon’s biggest day ever for global sales of its own branded devices, according to the e-retail giant.The discount shopping day saw Amazon sell more than 2.5 times more Amazon Fire TV devices compared to Prime Day last year, with its Fire TV Stick the best-selling Amazon device globally.“Amazon today announced customer orders surpassed Prime Day 2015 by more than 60% worldwide and more than 50% in the US It was also the biggest day ever for Amazon devices globally and record Prime Day for each Amazon device category including Fire TV, Fire tablets, Kindle e-readers and Alexa-enabled devices,” said the company.Amazon did not break out sales figures for its own devices, but it did reveal that globally more than 90,000 TVs were purchased on Prime Day 2016.last_img read more
